BridgeWave's 60Ghz with Advanced Encryption Software (AES) products offer a point-to-point wireless link that extends LANs between buildings up to full gigabit Ethernet speeds. It provides fiber equivalent performance, reliability and security, without the high installation costs and delays associated with inter-building fiber installations. The product operates in the license-free 60GHz radio frequency band. It is designed to be installed by end-users who do not have expertise in radio technology. Units are available in Fast Ethernet configurations such as the FE60 that permits 100Mbps pf throughput in a cost effective link. GE60 products are rated up to full gigabit speeds and the GE60X can extend the distance while utilizing a 24" external antenna
